I worked at INSYS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

INSYS was a great company to work for. The people are friendly and while it's a recruiting company, it's not as cutthroat as other places. It seems as though they help try to move you up in the company when positions open up. The management team are friendly and helpful as well.

    Cons

INSYS is a growing company, recently acquired by Luxoft. I left right after the announcement, so I'm not sure if this led to management changes.

    I worked at INSYS full-time

    Pros

There was a time when this was a very successful company that provided a lucrative career but those days are over.

    Cons

Promises that Luxoft was a "milestone" when in actuality Luxoft's plans are not compatible with current clients. Not just taking us a step back, completely taking us out of the game!

    Advice to Management

If you're a consultant, start looking, you're about to be replaced with your offshore counterparts.
If you're at INSYS headquarters, you already know the impact of the top talent jumping ship. Look at who's left and the new faces, they can't get you back to the good old days.

I worked at INSYS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, good benefits (medical/dental insurance and paid time off) and lots of autonomy. Employees receive floating holidays and the company even pays for days that the customer's office is closed.

    Cons

No in-person interaction with company employees or resources and a lack of real support, especially if there are issues with the customer. All interaction, even HR on-boarding, was over the phone and via email. Besides the initial phone screen, there were no interviews with INSYS- the only interview was with the customer.

    Advice to Management

If you land contracts in other states, you need to establish an office presence there- or the account manager should be required to travel there at least once a month to meet with the consultants and customers. Otherwise, consultants can begin to feel disconnected, isolated and unsupported.

    Pros

No Pros only Cons. Wish i can say good pro about the company and business but unfortunately there is nothing to say.

    Cons

Worst management ever. Not providing enough training to new employee and company culture and in return expect high turn over, results driven, money and business hungry. For management only results matter and unfortunately hardowrk, dedication, professionalism and honesty has no value whatsoever. Also don't give proper feedback to employee and ask employee to let go. Don't give enough time and opportunity to any individual and expects big numbers or results from minute you start your work. Also management expectation is employee doesn't deserve enough time to learn and shouldn't have any sort of personal life. If you willing to work as donkey without any appreciation and acknowledgment, this is the place. I strongly say DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

    Advice to Management

Be fair to each employee in terms learning company business and culture and also give enough opportunity to people grow and learn. Management needs to understand every employee deserve a fair chance and also management needs to remind themselves that they didn't born with knowledge and experience. It comes over the time, if you give time and opportunity to your each employee company will do better but unfortunately that's not case with INSYS. Highly disappointed.

    Pros

Informal interview process. Overall decent management

    Cons

No growth path - no employee feedback or review. Employees feel they are just a headcount to be placed at a client site.

    Advice to Management

Need to get out of staff-supplementation mindset in project-based endeavors.
