I worked at INTEGRIS Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Clerical type position that you are able to employ your medical knowledge and still be involved with patients making their experience at the hospital more pleasant.

    Cons

Hospitals do not close for weekends, nights or holidays: be willing to do your fair share of these shifts.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved in the job process and employees rather than micromanaging from the outside.

I worked at INTEGRIS Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

As an almost 19 year employee, I enjoyed my time at Integris. Was planning on ending my career there. Did make some great friends on the same level as myself.

    Cons

Until having to work with a new Director who went on a power trip! That is the mentality of all leadership and management there. There is no where to go to speak to anyone. They say call HR but there is no way you can do that and feel that you have someone on your side. Was brutally beaten down mentally from this Director, she made me feel like I was going in a million directions and nothing you did ever pleased her. Once I left, forget about getting unemployment! The state granted benefits to me, BUT Integris appealed and the states decision was overturned! They will fight everyone's UI Benefits!!! Especially after a long tenured employee who sacrificed so much! That is pretty sad when the company budgets for this and it's not costing them anything. Company benefits are the absolute worst in the healthcare industry! Very high deductibles and high premiums!

    Advice to Management

Make employees feel safe to where they can talk to someone without feeling they are going to get retaliation in the future. You really need to end the micromanaging that takes places with Directors and above!!!!!

I worked at INTEGRIS Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The Benefits were cut. But, they are still better than what most companies offer.

    Cons

This is just for the Communications Center. I've never seen so much drama before in my life than in the Communications Department. There are two types of employees in the communications center. The favorites and the people who do the actual work. Management is simply not around. When there is an issue with the manager you can't do anything about it because the manager and the director are so close its creepy. They are out to protect each other. If you question anything that is done. You are either fired or forced out. They keep themselves safe by hiring family and friends of each other. So its a good idea to just keep your mouth shut. The manager is having an affair with the public safety specialist/manager and spends most days chatting him up or going to lunch or talking on the phone.

The Manager and Director kiss up to presidents and kick down on their employees.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to look at management for the source of the drama. It's not the employees its Management. Integris preaches LOVE LEARN LEAD. That is not whats happening in the Communications Center.
