I have been working at INTERSYS CONSULTING full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Amazing company culture
    - Family atmosphere
    - Great Benefits and generous PTO
    - Company invests a lot back in to its people and the company itself
    - Privately owned and very stable and growing financials
    - Fun and hardworking atmosphere
    - Company values and encourages your ideas
    - Direct access to any level of management
    - Exciting and challenging work
    - Company greatly encourages charity work (CEO personally matches donations to your favorite charity) and your own professional development
    - Company values work life balance and very caring towards personal situations if needed
    - Team oriented culture and everyone is always open to help
    - Great marketing and branding team
    - Upper management brings high level experience from much larger companies but has the values/culture/work life balance of a smaller firm
    - HR always available to help

    Cons

Just the small bumps that come with a rapidly growing company. Though it is great to truly help build a company and be apart of that vs. being just another number at a much bigger firm.

    Advice to Management

Would be nice to have Taco Tuesday here in NYC or maybe Pizza (since we have the best) Thursday :)

I have been working at INTERSYS CONSULTING (More than a year)

    Pros

    freedom...I guess?...

You get a lot of freedom, but not where it really counts. You're not an actual consultant here because you don't get to do any consulting. You're more or less just an employee of wherever they tell you to go.

    Cons

You have to turn a noise maker on to go to the bathroom.

The office is tiny and crowded.

    There's zero project management.

    There's zero client relationship management.

There's absolutely no leadership or structure.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at other types of consultancies that know how to buy projects. You're never going to keep talent when you're just shipping them off to companies they would never want to work for in the first place.

Fire your sales, HR, and all recruiters

    Pros

Guess they try to find a consulting engagement for you.

    Cons

Just an outfit of middlemen that take a cut from either side. You are better off finding your own consulting gig.

    Advice to Management

Cut the management, bureaucrats to size. Too top heavy with minimal technical skills

I worked at INTERSYS CONSULTING (Less than a year)

    Pros

One or two of the employees are great people. They have electricity and running water in the office.

    Cons

Profit over people, all the time. The management is nonexistent, and quite a few of the employees are condescending and uninterested in teamwork. If you like bending over backwards to hit goals while being unappreciated and taken advantage of only to be replaced by a 22 year old who will work for bread crusts then look no further, this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Start managing things, and understand that treating people as expendable assets is not a sustainable practice.
