    Pros

The Koch industries MBM Guiding Principles and Philosophy as written out in Mr. Koch's book Science of Success is good.

    Cons

Unfortunately INVISTA seems to have adopted the MBM philosophy in theory only as I personally saw very little (if any) of it actually practiced.

    Advice to Management

    Practice the philosophy

I worked at INVISTA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    pretty good pay
    most people are nice
9/80 schedule (friday off every other week)... honestly, I wish I could say more, but there really isn't

    Cons

    high turnover
    employees are human capital
detached managers who care mostly about climbing corporate ladder
actions are usually fear oriented, than result oriented
    rednecks

    Advice to Management

Considering how I was treated at this company, I actually have no constructive input to the managers at this company. I actually hope they keep doing what they're doing, so that they can go belly up in a few years.

    Pros

    Only good thing were benefits.

    Cons

No strategy. High turnover of people except for top management who are watching each other's back. Business struggling to survive. Every month a chess game. You need to be careful that your not someone's pawn being sacrificed. Stay clear

    Advice to Management

Need to rebuild the business from bottom up not top down. Time for most of you to leave or retire as you have destroyed a great business.

A decent place to work, people are nice, benefits are decent. I enjoy my job and the people I work with.
