    Pros

    Great co workers.
    3 weeks vacation to start and 5 weeks after 4 years.

    Cons

    Pay could be a lot better. No room for promotion. Unrealistic advancement structure.

    Pros

    Good salary and benefits. Some positions have great management and support. Dynamic atmosphere.

    Cons

    Uncertain future, layoffs and people leaving. Projects can get crazy. Lots and lots of meetings.

    Pros

    Great ideas and lots of talented people working there. Free lunches, snacks, and drinks.

    Cons

    Starting out, things seemed great. Projected growth was looking good and lots of new opportunities. But then the smoke started to clear and what seemed turned out to be a farce. The biggest issue was that there were several people in leadership positions who did not possess the proper skill-sets to be effective leaders.The organization was a small-to-medium sized business that had been around for several years, yet still acted like a start-up. The teams were constantly running from one "fire" to the next, which I think was due to lack of solid process. Work/Life balance was no existent, with some people working during their time off... so much for "unlimited vacation", Overall, i'd say the culture has a terminal cancer which is eating away at the moral of the employees and will not be sustainable long term.

    Pros

    Free lunch, a lot of lower level tallent. A beautiful building ( phoenix location )

    Cons

    A recent change to the management team has really changed things for the worse. On the plus side the company did promote from within, the problem with this was it was done to save money not because employees were ready to be moved into management positions. The operations team is understaffed, there is lots to be done and just not enough people to do it. There is no proper PM plan in place, the equipment is begining to show signs of neglect creating some dangerous conditions specifically with the ammonia refrigeration plant. There has been multiple failures of the cooling system usually for the same reason, given the fact that it has happened many times one would have to assume that nothing is being done to fix the problem. Lower level employees have ideas and plans to fix current porblems but are ignored by upper management. The facility is rates as N+1 but a fair chunk of the cooling systems +1 capability is not avalible due to needed repairs specifically in the ammonia cooling plant.

    If you want to work at a place were you walk around and inspect equipement while checking boxes, but do nothing to actually repair or properly maintain it... this is the place for you.

    If you want to actually do your job be allowed to get things done, and be respected for your knowledge keep looking.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to know what they dont know, and listen to the ones that do know what needs to be done. Dont be scared to take advice from lower level employees, be grateful that the lower level guys have the knowledge and ability to make improvement suggestions. You hired guys with experience and good technical knowledge, you should probably listen to them. When suggestions for repairs or improvements are made, make them be heard and make them happen. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!!!
