I worked at IQVIA full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Physical Activity Reimbursement Nice salad bar at US HQ Good people Employee award program

    Cons

Most departments lack structured or comprehensive training Low pay Low bonus, if any For annual review each dept only allowed 2 people that exceed expectations (qualify for promotion) and should have 2 people that do not meet expectations (require performance improvement plan) To advance or make more money, you’re better off leaving the company and then coming back in the future.

    Advice to Management

Bring back some of the perks from Quintiles. More employee engagement. Give out swag. Consider a standardized orientation and training structure (day 1, day 2, etc). Have managers attend training/skill camps in person not remotely. Allow employees to provide anonymous annual reviews of management.

I have been working at IQVIA full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Warm employees, great discounts both locally and through perkspot, offers reimbursement for wellness needs like gym memberships, amazingly flexible work schedule, great onboarding in terms of the help you get in the beginning

    Cons

High Stress Levels, Large turnover so scarce resourcing help on studies, management only tells you they notice or work or value when you say you're considering leaving, Management doesn't work on studies with you so they have no clear views of what or how much/little you do, pay is better at other CROs, benefits are expensive, not explanatory/concise about what is actually a duty of the position

    Advice to Management

Get more involved with employees on their study not just when escalated.

I have been working at IQVIA full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Benefits are good - healthcare insurance and 401 (k).

    Cons

Because your colleagues are around the world (and 60% of the workforce works from home), you could have very little face-to-face interaction with team members. If you work in a large office, you could sit near people who have nothing to do with your projects, your day-to-day work, etc. It is a very silo'd environment.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at IQVIA full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Very good benefits and atmosphere. Most employees are positive about work environment.

    Cons

Departments work in silos, which leads to major miscommunications/redundancy of work.

    Advice to Management

Encourage cross-collaboration among departments and direct leadership to have staff reach out to others to improve communication
