I have been working at IQVIA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large company with a lot of options to move around and learn about clinical trials, changes company is going through create opportunities. Many roles have excellent flexibility and work life balance can be very good

    Cons

Poor salary compared to other similar companies in the UK, although some benefits are better. Going through a lot of change at the moment.

    Advice to Management

    Make pay more competitive

I have been working at IQVIA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay. Decent work hours. Some good employees. Excellent stepping stone to a career in pharma. A recognised brand in the healthcare space.

    Cons

Nepotism is rampant. Communication style often mistaken for leadership and rewarded over content. No role models in management. Infighting, politicking, bickering at the more senior ranks.

    Advice to Management

Improve career development for all, not just the chosen few. Review your diversity and inclusion policies in practice.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at IQVIA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Historically flexible working approach they are happy as long as you are productive, this does vary from department to department

    Cons

Pay for my position in central London is not great.

They like to have mass culls every once in a while to offshore departments - which I see makes sense from a business perspective

    Advice to Management

Include and listen to the feet on the ground, not with one way web-ex, but with interactive meetings to improve communication at all levels

I worked at IQVIA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Market leader and interesting work which includes working with large Pharma companies. Good location in the centre of London. Nice bonus but not always given.

    Cons

Very corporate environment and can be difficult to easily speak with senior management. Need to provide more responsibility to more junior members in the team.

    Advice to Management

Convert competency ratings into salary increases because they are low. Also invest more into technology as it can be ten years old and causes issues in day to day working.
