    Pros

Can use vacation and sick leave right away. 4 hours per pay period.

HR is a joke. Don't work evening or night shift. The people are like robots trying to get out production. But it gets better when tax season is over.

I worked at IRS as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was a temporary data transcriber for almost 6 months, and it was a great experience. I spent my shift transferring tax forms to the government computer system - it was an extremely low stress job, and an easy way to earn some extra cash while job hunting.

    Cons

The pay was pretty low, and the work could get monotonous, but it was overall a positive experience.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
