    I worked at ITAGroup full-time

    Pros

    - Ability to apply for flexible work schedule
    - Business Casual Dress

    Cons

    - Company sells employee engagement and wants to teach others how to engage their workforce, but ITA Group focuses only on extrinsic rewards. The people working here do not need perks or trinkets, they need development, constructive feedback, and true recognition (not just rewards).
    - Complete lack of transparency. The company culture is a fearful one. They are too scared to be honest. They are honest about good things and blatantly avoid bad things -- errors, incidents, constructive feedback, layoffs, etc.
    - Lack of procedures. They keep everything so high level that employees are forced to figure things out on their own, then scrutinized for not doing it the right way.
-Lack of leadership. 1:1s are not automatic; you're left to set them up on your own if you "need" them. Feedback is almost nonexistent.
    - Obvious desire to satisfy the customer over valuing employees. For an engagement company, you'd think they'd understand that putting employees first would inherently make the employees serve the customer to the best of their ability.
    - Resistance to change -- many individuals are begging for good change that they can be a part of. But leadership's response is to update the high level processes that don't even touch these individuals. The mantra is, "that's just not our culture."

    Advice to Management

Focus on your people first, success will come after that.

    Pros

Is it easy to move up within this company.

I have been working at ITAGroup full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The culture, the people, the challenges, the variety of fortune 1000 customers.

    Cons

Like most mid-size companies on a fast growth pace... the company continues to reshape it's identity yet holds on to the founders' legacy. Newer divisions/departments continue to innovate, and traditional ones struggle to keep up

    Advice to Management

Even though I love where we were 30, 20, or even 10 years ago... recent couple of years proof change is imminent. Continue to empower new leaders in the organization and always be prepared to pivot.

    Pros

    Nice, modern work place.
    Never work over 40 hours

    Cons

    They don't encourage collaboration.
    People are really rude.
Very large gap between people who have been working there a few years and people who have been working at ITA for an extended period. There's a lack of people in the middle ground.
It seems like they have a hard time with employee retention.

    Pros

The company has really committed to change and culturally has made great strides in the past couple years. Lots of great coworkers and opportunity for growth. Great employee-owned stock program. Flexible schedules, smart casual dress, family friendly.

    Cons

Similar to any corporate position - it feels like nothing can move fast enough. Lots of processes to follow. Some departments are still pretty siloed.

    Advice to Management

Keep changing with the times! Don't be afraid to try new things.
