    I worked at ITEC full-time

    Pros

Pay is sometimes better than prime contractor pays

    Cons

Being a sub makes you the least valuable employee during cut-backs

I have been working at ITEC full-time

    Pros

ITEC cares about its employees and goes the extra mile to make them feel appreciated from small things like celebration lunches to large things like weekend getaways in the mountains.
Still has the small company feel even though they were recently purchased by a large company.
Management treats people fairly and maintains a culture that does not allow backstabbing or underhanded activity.
    Good benefits pkg

    Cons

Management sometimes appears to be hesitant to make decisions since the acquisition.

    Advice to Management

Demonstrate vision and leadership for the future as we transition through the aftermath of an acquisition

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at ITEC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Offer lots of autonomy. Payscale is highly competitive, Health insurance better than many other large companies.

    Cons

You're nearly always an outsider because you're working 3rd party.

    Advice to Management

Reach out to your employees when a contract isn't going well. At the very least, provide them some sort of reassurance.

    I worked at ITEC full-time

    Pros

This company was subcontracting for Northrop Grumman and the pay was fairly decent. The healthcare benefits for individuals was great. The holiday parties and other events throughout the year were great. Not many companies still offer that sort of thing.

    Cons

Healthcare for the family was much more expensive. The company rarely if ever interacted with me when I worked for them. There is not much room for growth within the company. This is a hire to permanent position type company.

    Advice to Management

You seem to be doing great. You're straight forward. Good job and good luck to you in your future endeavors. I would consider working for you again in the future.

I worked at ITEC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are great, they pay your insurance give plenty of vacation days in 6 months and 1 year with paid holidays as well

    Cons

lots of over time and treat employees like the only thing in the world that matters is ITEC if they say jump you should say how high. if you show any sign of personal issues they fire you. Company is owed by investors and only care about bottom line.

    Advice to Management

The management staff is one of the worst i have ever worked for. They lie to the employees take advantage of them especially if they are in a bad spot

    Pros

Great atmosphere - people are kind and helpful, and ITEC does a great job at taking care of their employees from benefits to morale. It's a great place to work.

    Cons

The morale events are too much fun.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

    "OK"

    Pros

    Salary was decent/good. OK culture.

    Cons

Old office was dumpy. Workload during my time there was heavy with low quality reqs. Communicating with HR, no relationships outside of the one client that pays the bills, etc. I had been told that incoming reqs get filtered evenly across recruiters, but that's not what I experienced... Hot reqs came through the door and went to the tenured recruiters. For the most part, it's the defense world, and you're fishing in a big lake with few fish. In hindsight, I should have stayed where I was.

    Advice to Management

More focus on quality sales people going after quality accounts. Not the out of state HR contact you just called who has 30 open reqs.

    Pros

Nice to work for a smaller company where the CEO takes time to meet the employees. Great company to work for where they show they appreciate their employees.

    Cons

    I didn't experience any CONS.

    Pros

Great benefits -- company provides an employee weekend away in Keystone every year. Plus free family events at the Denver Zoo and Colorado Rockies games.

    Cons

Since you are a subcontractor, job security is not guaranteed.
