I have been working at ITG full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The culture is great, management is willing to help you learn, they offer wellness events for employees, hold many charity events.

    Cons

Multi-timezone teams make for slightly troublesome communication, large company means sometimes depending on other teams to complete work before being able to continue on your own.

    Advice to Management

Allow developers to be innovative and make mistakes, that is the best way to learn to do something without inhibiting creativity.

I worked at ITG full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work with smart, motivated people. If you take initiative, there is mobility within the company, giving you the ability to cross-pollinate and learn different skills. Certain managers really value their employees and will stick their necks out to retain. If you have to be in financial services, fintech is good space.

    Cons

Not enough women in leadership roles.

    Advice to Management

Think strategically about and implement a new sales strategy. Too much focus on staffing the firm with people who came from bulge bracket gives the company an identity crisis.

I have been working at ITG full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Friendly workplace.
Do not have the culture of employee staying late to appear to be hard working.
Very competent employees and admin staff

    Cons

Certain managers are very insecure, eager to please up and always bully down. Use employees as scapegoats of the manager's own incompetency.
Many good performing employees who have been at the company for long time exited the company, and many more to follow.

    Advice to Management

Look at a team's current employees and its past history of exited employees can tell a lot about this manager.
