    Pros

    - Good location - Decent pension scheme - Regular social events

    Cons

    - Not a 24 hr live news operation and that really sums up their attitudes to breaking news. - Little progression opportunity - Management blind to several issues. - BAME underpaid and underrepresented at senior level - Don't seem to stick to their own company policies - Poor work environment, in need of refurb / general maintenance. - Extremely poor IT

    Pros

    Potential to move around different newsrooms and parts of the business. Highly respected company with a great reputation. Some great people to work with.

    Cons

    Lots of micromanagement. Favouritism of certain people. Unwillingness or slow to adopt new technology or workflows. Long and sometimes punishing shifts. Lack of flexibility.

    Let your workers get on with the job and trust them to do it.
