I have been working at ITR Group as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Help you get placed at a job with pretty decent rates that they're willing to work with. They helped me craft my resume to better suit the clients they were placing for.

    Cons

Contracts can be frustrating to work around in terms of healthcare and 401k options; so it's not for everyone. I wish it were easier to compare what the FT rates would be just for curiosity.

    Advice to Management

Tell us contractors how and when to ask for a raise, since we're working through a vendor, it's not easy to know how to ask about rate increases.

I worked at ITR Group (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good opportunities at many different companies across a variety of industries for consulting, and they do a good job managing expectations about the particular requirements.

    Cons

The culture of consultants within the company is somewhat disconnected when you are a located at a client site and do not get together with other consultants very often.

    Advice to Management

Bring the consultants together more often for better team building in order to have a more tight knit culture for the whole company

    Pros

Very good company to work with, technical department is very informative and helps to keep quality of products shipped from being returned by checking and double checking the products before they ship. RMA's are almost 0 or very minimal and customer service is great combined with one of the fastest shipping department I have ever seen makes this a great company to work for.

    Cons

Long hours, hard work, dusty warehouse, stron chemicals can sometimes be over bearing.

    Advice to Management

None they were great and the accounting department was always on top of everything.

    Pros

Great collaborative work environment. I love my co workers and I love my job. ITR Group is very supportive of a work/life balance. The CEO has an open door policy and is accessible at all times.
We are strong advocates for matching the right consultants with the right job but we take it a step further and strive to build relationships with out consultants as well.

    Cons

The turnover makes me nervous but in an industry such as ours, it is common.

    Advice to Management
