I worked at ITT Educational Services

    Pros

HQ staff get a free lunch offered 3 days a week (M W Th). tickets to the zoo, symphony on the prairie, hot coffee bar, Christmas celebration and many other nice things. Often you get a chance to donate and get access to colts or pacers tickets that go unused on a raffle. Good bunch of people to work with.

    Cons

As most larger organizations change slow, fair amount of the expected politics. IT is forward looking and open to change and new ideas

I worked at ITT Educational Services

    Pros

The people here are awesome to work with. Some of the employee appreciation things are nice (going to the race for free and the state fair, free lunch 3 times a week *u might not like it all*)

    Cons

management is closed minded and clique-ish. Raises are given once a year (Feb) if given at all. No room for advancement unless someone else moves or leaves. High turnover and no replacements. Old equipment used (still using XP and Oracle 9 with no support).

I have been working at ITT Educational Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I enjoy my coworkers. You get a free lunch 3 days a week.

    Cons

The entire corporate culture is toxic. Recently the company changed the insurance policy. If your spouse is eligible for health insurance through their employer, ITT will NOT cover them (even if you pay for it) and will fine you if you lie about it. Executives use the front door; everyone else is required to use the servants entrance (the employee nickname for the side door). Corporate priorities change daily. There is no strategic leadership. Kevin Modany does quarterly updates where he completely disregards the plummeting stock, litany of lawsuits, and lowered student enrollment. Instead rose-colored glasses list of people who have stuck around for 5+ years. The stock continues to plummet, Kevin Modany is pulling in $8.7M according to Forbes, and the board of directors is doing nothing about it.
