    Great benefits, exceptional colleagues, collaborative workplace

    Cons

    New companies (post separation) are lean. Unfamiliar with what it is like to work for Xylem, ITT Exelis, or new ITT Corp, but assume the same values will be upheld and know that the people are great.

    Pros

    I worked there for 3 years, and left on good terms, great people to work with in the finance realm

    Cons

    There were some very long hours, they could really get to you, but the management was always nice and ordered food.

    Good Salary and Benefits and sometimes overtime and holiday pay.

    Cons

    Bad Management to many family members hire without work knowledge.

    Quit using the good old boy system and hire personnel that can do the job.

    Good products, excellent strategic positioning. Great environment for learning as roles are broad.

    Cons

    High backlog of investments, manual and inconsistent processes significantly increasing workload across all functions, inefficient financial planning & budgeting processes. Unmotivated staff due to frequent lay-offs.

    No risk of getting fired unless you are that dispassionate about your job.

    Not among one of the top paying companies.

    Try to pay the hardworking employees a bit more and you will be one of the most loved employers.

    Advice to Management

    Honesty is Key. Don't say one thing and do another. For instance, don't send an email to the entire company saying that we're meetting our financial targets and everything is rosy, then close facilities and have 15% layoffs.
