    Pros

Would like there to be more jobs in the U.S.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at ITV full-time

    Pros

nice people that are fun to work with... i think there is good room to grow, but it definitely takes some time to grow in the company

    Cons

the mall that ITV is in doesn't have many food options, so bring your own lunch... not many other cons

    Pros

The managers were great... I couldn't have asked for a more supportive group of people to work with. Also, the salary is better than most other media outlets in the area.

    Cons

There are a lot of freelancers so it seems like there's always new people coming in. Once they get there though, many stay for a while.

    Advice to Management

I would say that they should take a more active role in monitoring and rewarding employee performance. It'd be nice if doing a particularly good job would be noticed more often.

I have been working at ITV full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoy my job, as I am lucky enough to meet some famous faces, some of which I grew up watching on TV, I know the work that I do will directly affect millions of people on a daily basis, I enjoy being a part of entertaining the nation. Plus were an international company, with loads of opportunities to go global.

    Cons

Some negatives include; the full on working enviroment, all of the time. Not much time off, due to the full on working enviroment and also when everything goes belly up, we have to start all over again. I don't like telling celebrities they have to do a piece of content all over again :(

    Advice to Management

Ensure staff do get there time off, because we need it!

    Pros

Full of exciting creative people making some of the best television and still attracts some of the best actors and presenters. No day like the last in the events department. Proud to have been part of bringing the output to the viewer, and advertiser. Enjoyed watching the change from analogue single channel to multi-channel and now you only have to look at the content on ITV player to see that all the new channels have forever to replay the gems.

    Cons

Sometimes hard working people were over-looked for rewards like going to live events/broadcasts but understandable in such a fast paced commercial environment

    Advice to Management

We had a sensational Internal Communications department under Penny Lawson and she made sure the staff were kept on top of policy, I dont know the system now but I put this out there as important. There were 6000 staff then.

    Pros

supportive creative company with good careers prospects, support. It provides varied work and the ability to move between departments as part of a career development path

    Cons

The work is demanding and not for someone content with simply a nine till five job. can impose on the work life balance

    Advice to Management

remember staff contribute to the bottom line. The ethos that has built up over many years is an important asset and must be nurtured
