I worked at ITV as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interesting work, good variety of internal communications and TV show related design projects. Creative freedom on most projects. Friendly work colleagues.

    Cons

Very disorganised at the time I worked there, feeling the design department had drifted from the organisation. Poor workspace and morale, not much communication with other design departments. However I believe this has changed and in recent years and they have a new focused internal design studio.

    Pros

The people! When technology brakes down or clients are annoying it's the people there that pull you through and put a smile on your face.

    Cons

Too many bad decisions made by upper management. No time given for changes to take effect. Too many re-structures that are never allowed to settle. Not much scope for thinking outside the box. Impossible to get new projects off the ground.

    Advice to Management

Need to be more innovative and take more creative risks! Especially in digital...
