    Pros

Excellent working environment for every employee, payments at time and all other contractual terms respected by the company. The head office always replies on time.

    Cons

Coordinating information with all departments needs to be a little bit more on time, not to be checked always by the head of each project.

    Advice to Management

    Best company up to now

I worked at Iberdrola full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good Pay and unlimited OT

    Cons

Watch so many people come through and suck up to the boss and get better raises and bonuses which were not based off there knowledge or work ethic. Come in late every day and still get the best bonus and raise. Gossip with the Boss get the best bonus.

    Advice to Management

Give bonuses based on employees worth not how you like them as a friend

I worked at Iberdrola full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary and benefits decent for area

    Cons

Everything else. Unprofessional management who expect availability at all hours of the day night and weekends yet if you need support, it's over in Spain and yes they have gone home for the day. No regard of accounting standards just get it booked and we will fix it later. I am happy to have moved on.

    Advice to Management

Give people the tools and resources needed to complete their job

I worked at Iberdrola full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You can learn a lot in a specialized industry.

    Cons

Management is being pushed to give in to Spain's unrealistic demands, and I couldn't find anyone willing to stand up to them. Very poorly run, no value for industry knowledge.

    Advice to Management

As more people retire, you are losing a lot of knowledge. Wake up. Treat people with respect.

I have been working at Iberdrola (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay for area and free benefits

    Cons

You have to suck up to get any kind of recognition. The bonus and raises are given to the biggest suck ups not the hardest workers. Run like a union even though it's not.

    Advice to Management

The technicians are the ones who keep the power flowing. Without them you wouldn't have all that money to put in your pocket. Time to start taking better care of the guys in the field and start paying more and giving better raises and bonuses to them and not let it be up to the manager who befriends certain employees that don't do they're share of the workload.

I have been working at Iberdrola full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Global company, good pay, multicultural environment. Exciting new projects, good learning opportunities.

    Cons

Lack of trust, motivation and the performance evaluation scheme is fixed where even if your team are all high achievers, 25% must have low-performance ratings. Long hours.

    Advice to Management

Better work-life balance. Promotions should be on merit and not on nepotism

I have been working at Iberdrola (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Pay ok for area, benefits.

    Cons

No work life balance, poor leadership, unreasonable expectations without providing necessary tools and support to complet the job

    Advice to Management

Provide the necessary tools and staff to complete the task at hand. Also if you plan on working you employees into the ground turn over will be a problem

I worked at Iberdrola full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are allowed a fairly wide range of autonomy in your work. They pay well (holidays are paid) and provide solid benefits. The job security is great because natural gas distribution isn't going anywhere and with the aging workforce they will soon be hiring like crazy (about 50% of their workforce will be retiring within the next 5-10 years). The people are also very friendly. The employees I encountered were all very friendly.

    Cons

If you are looking to be a hot shot moving up to management in no time, this is not the job for you. The culture values employees who have been faithful and have paid their dues in time with the company. The lower management positions don't allow much flexibility and require someone who follows the books with no deviation. Senior management is quickly filling with people from spain.

    Advice to Management

    None

Good paying conditions but not extraordinary

    Cons

Very slow in terms of promotions
More annual feedback would be advisable

    Advice to Management

Take more care about feedbacks, promotions and employee satisfaction
