    The hourly rate is good compared to other places

    Cons

    Everything else -management was appalling, treated staff like crap - made to work like dogs and feel bad for a taking a break which you are entitled to -slave away, the pay is high as they employ as minimal staff as possible and so you are expected to do impossible amounts of work. - stay extra time without getting paid and made to feel like the bad person if you didn’t (To be clear this was the Iceland food warehouse...

    Treat staff with more respect, appreciate the one person cannot do one million things at once and cannot be in one million ways places at once.

    Some friendly customers but they are treat badly by queing and noone answering calls for help

    Cons

    If your face doesnt fit you will be forced out

    Advice to Management

    Respect your hard working employees and stop with the constructive dismissal efforts. Dont cut hours to bare minimum then employ under 18s because they're cheaper. Reward loyalty and you'll get it back in abundance

    Was allowed to keep vehicle overnight, as had no other transport

    Cons

    due to lack of experience, time frame was punishing. Some Customers contact details were out of date.

    Verify Details and Update ASAP, used to be done in-store, now done by third-party

    Train your store managers to practice what they preach on person specification ( be friendly, understanding, and positive).

    Pros

    There is a collective mentality, strong recruitment mix of ages in the workforce and rate of pay is in line with living standards.

    Cons

    Work benefits are nominal or sporadic at best. Commitment is not well rewarded. management incompetence varies massively between stores.

    Remove distance from the lower levels of employment - encourage more transparency and act faster on change.
