    I worked at Ichiban part-time

    Pros

    Boss is nice and understanding

    Cons

Smaller restaurant so don't have benefits that you would get with a larger restaurant

I have been working at Ichiban part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people working here are very nice and will help teach you the ropes.

    Cons

    There is poor communication.
If you are a student some management believes work is more important than school.
Expect a great deal,of work for just 1 person and if it is a Friday/Saturday night you will be highly stressed out.

    Advice to Management

Suggestions on sensualing more than one person at the front for busy nights.

    Pros

Easy and friendly owner with nice attitude

Need to raise salary because only raise once a year

  4. "Atrocious management with even worse communication skills."

    Pros

You can make money quick IF there's high volumes and you only have to work about five hours.

    Cons

Ichiban takes a 40/60 cut so you have to make ALOT of money. Small hourly wage. Won't help you out on slow nights.

    Advice to Management

Hothead leaders rarely make for a smooth running business. I Was fired without warning for asking a day off for school because he erroneously assumed his whole staff would ask off for that day also. The manager was aggressive and physically confrontational without proper provocation.
