I have been working at Icicle Seafoods full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to meet people from all over the world and experience different cultures. The company employees are very accepting of different religions, races, etc. Teamwork is essential and most people pull their own weight

    Cons

Management does not communicate. Favoritism is shown. Lot of confusion as to whether you are to work or not on a given day. People are told to show up for work and they do and then are told to come back later. There is no job board or telephone system to let employees know if they are working or not so you have to put your entire life on hold.

    Advice to Management

    communicate better with employees

I worked at Icicle Seafoods full-time

    Pros

Meet really cool people, go home with a good amount of cash if you're frugal

    Cons

The hours are long, don't expect to be treated with much respect, quality assurance is an issue. Management is as good as a bunch of kids telling you what to do.

    Advice to Management

Train your managers to assess workers and not be afraid to move them around to fit a correct position for them. Also require managers, supervisors, and what not to be polite and take some qualification course
