    Pros

Really good for learning new tools as you will have to work on multiple tools

    Cons

Bad management, office politics and non-employee friendly environment. Get ready to take in a lot of pressure because you will be thrown into really tough situations, even as a fresher(without sufficient training. Oh yeah! company expects a single person to do and know everything everything-from documentation to deployment without 'almost' no training. Be in office whole day and have 0 life, unless you are a workaholic, in which case this is great! . Gives fake experience in cover letters of Icon consultants so that they can fool clients(They are really good at this! ). And they'll deploy a fresher on a project showing 2 or 3 years of experience in their resume. And for the fresher this is going to create a hell lot of issues, sleepless nights and work pressure. Now the most important question- Are you getting paid enough for all these?- Well no. Not enough for the headache you get. THEY HAVE A BOND so you can't leave easily as well. As already mentioned, don't expect a good working environment as most of the people you work with are in a non-healthy competition with each other. I've also noticed that a very few people(say a 7%-10% or even less) stay in company and leave the company immediately once the bond is over(No surprises there and I did the same). PLEASE KNOW that company has a 3 month notice period policy which makes things even harder if you want to leave. The number of opportunities I've lost with other companies are huge!. I've lost about 8 or 9 opportunities because all other employers need immediate joiners or within a month joiners. Well these are a few of them... there are more of course, but I'm done for now.

    Advice to Management

As far as I knew non of my colleagues at that time was happy with the management. An employee feels like to work for her/his company when he/she feels home, happy and comfortable, which I didn't and most of them didn't get from Icon. I knew plenty of them there who worked their days and nights and didn't get enough appreciation. Give it to the deserving. Take care of your employees and they will take care of your company. And as of now your are doing a really bad job at taking care of your employees

    Pros

If you say "Yes Sir", "Yes Sir" to whatever management says then you can live happily

    Cons

Company running without any long team vision.
Every second month the strategy changes.
Not sure if their 2020 vision is still there or that also has moved to 2030 :)
You never know when you will be asked to leave.
    No respect of consultants.
Lot of senior level consultants, Leads & Managers left the company in last one year.
Cannot think of any client who is happy or satisfied.
No standard HR policies, all HR related decisions are beyond HR's control as only big boss takes those decisions.

    Advice to Management

Give respect to deserving employees not just few best buddies of yours.
Have long team vision and strategy.
Give some powers and control to HR as well

I have been working at Icon Resources (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They give a laptop and data card

    Cons

Organization is full of pervert, narrow minded , highly unprofessional and drink addicts ..managers drink in the office cabin itself after 6pm..one room company which has a common washroom for gents and ladies with no water facilities..highly unhygienic..managers do not have any knowledge when asked any doubts..but they claim themselves as experts in qlik and other tools...highly egoistic and insecure for their jobs..have a 2 year bond policy..no support from management..will give an offer for Singapore once you decide to leave organization..which may not happen even if you stay..people there lack technical, communication, presentation skills..you can only lower down your skills here..no manners to talk also implies to architects sitting in Singapore...feels like a bunch of kids in an organization got to be at manager level ..better stay away..

    Advice to Management

The organization has reached point of no return...in 15 years of its existence it only has a strength of 150 odd people who are stuck there because of the bond or because they are not able to switch..

    Pros

    reat for learning.

    Different platform to learn upon.

    Cons

Third class infrastructure (e.g.Combined washrooms for Male/Female,no toilet papers..this was least)

    Management is worst.

No Employee - Manager or upper team concerns.

Will treat you like a Profit-giving-object

    Will kill your self-esteem

Very cheap managers(not all but maximum)

Bond (pay 2 lacks for no reason)

    Advice to Management

Try to respect and give values to honest and hard working employees.

Money can't buy the work culture,so try not to make personal profits from everywhere.
