    I worked at Iddiction full-time

    Pros

The office space was fun, a great open floor design and lots of natural light. The kitchen was awesome, always well stocked with food and beverages. The start-up vibe would not be complete without a ping pong table, and Iddiction boasted one in the garage / breakroom.

Being a start-up, there was also plenty of opportunities to contribute to efforts and projects outside of your specifically defined role. The fast-moving environment was great for learning how to learn at an accelerated rate.

    Cons

The high turnover of employees led to the few remaining to be stretched too thin without being compensated appropriately.

    Advice to Management

Work better to retain employees and think of long-term strategies to make people happier. Also focus company mission for increased productivity.

I worked at Iddiction full-time (Less than a year)

A strong leader within the industry with a great vision.

    Cons

Trying to grow too quickly, inexperienced management has let to extremely high turn over for such a small start-up within it's first few years of business.

    Advice to Management

Increase transparency of company goals with key employees.

I worked at Iddiction full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers. Excellent technical abilities of the SW development team. Huge learning opportunity.

    Cons

CEO has no vision and puts in minimal effort. He is preoccupied with his "personal development". Teams were left on their own to figure out how to make things work.
