I have been working at Igloo Products full-time

    Pros

Close to home for many of us.
    Gas savings

    Cons

Employees feel disconnected when their benefits are cut off
I will be transparent and clear in this review I'm +50 years old, I joined Igloo when I was 40 years old, I like my job but I feel that I have no enthusiasm to give my 100%, there have been many changes in the organization, many have good leaders, others we have good followers and we can continue with the daily pace as many other industries.
When you are older and your pocket is affected, you lose motivation and start asking yourself if it was worth leaving more than 10 years of your life in this company.
    - No 401k for my retirement plan
    - Health Insurance, next rate increase for employees in the corner
    - Health Insurance, new rate increase early next year

    Advice to Management

How can we help you fixing and improving the financial issues for a better year.
If the sales are not so good, be smart, plan with strategy
Be creative, utilize your full time employees only
Be open, conscientious and business mind check your corporate office staff and ask yourself as a leader if you need all members.

don't be defensive with this review, I just want you to know how people like me feel working for a company with no benefits like 401K and high rate health insurance.

show employees that you care by how you start the New Year 2018

    Pros

This is truly a family environment based on a culture of commitment.
For every challenging issue there are twenty productive and optimistic solutions.
I am constantly learning and encouraged to innovate.
The executive team is approachable and fair.
There is a great level of transparency in management.

    Cons

As an outdoor industry brand I'd like to see our organization getting outside for more team building.
Our offices and campus has great potential to be a destination and attraction. My hope is that in the future we can build this out.
We need more resources to service the brand.

    Advice to Management

I'm learning from management. That is always how I measure job satisfaction. Keep teaching! I appreciate it.

    Pros

You work 4 10 hr days

    Cons

Hot/cold. No a/c would be fine if they didn't have you working till you pass out LITERALLY. There's entirely too much drama. I worked there for more than 3 years. You miss 1 sticker on 1 cooler and all help breaks lose. The people who work for the company are lazy and the temps are worse because all the good ones get ran away because temps get the shot end of the stick. I would advice anyone to seek employment elsewhere.

I worked at Igloo Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good people, good teams

    Cons

CEO is just a face for the investors, the VPs spend too much money, and now they're having to do layoffs as a result. All the people who actually did the work are being laid off, meaning everyone left is stuck doing the work of 3 people and as salaried employees, are not eligible for overtime. Long hours, little appreciation, and no job security.

    Advice to Management

Spend less money on low return investments and invest more in the employees to get the job done.

    Pros

This place is a mess and morale is in the dumps
Spiraling downward fast. Laying off good people and crumbling.

    Cons

Horrible HR team that have no idea how to be helpful--they are idiots. HR leader has no idea how to deal with people--she is a control freak and a joke--Dr. Cold as Ice Winters. Mark Parrish the CEO is a lot of air with no pragmatic solutions. the American Dream involves Igloo going down the tubes. A few years ago before him--this company was thriving and hitting our numbers, employees were happy with a lot of events, training and support.

Laying off good people and crumbling.

    Advice to Management

Why do we still have the entire HR team? Do we really need a staff of recruiters--who are idiots. Before you are letting other good people go in these layoffs and get Mark out of here!
