    Pros

Family environment, great opportunity to learn and be involved in various aspects of the business. The company is small enough that you have to wear several hats which allows you to learn more in a shorter period of time.

    Cons

experience of personnel was limited to only one company

    Advice to Management

Provide employees 3rd party training to stay up to date with industries and current practices.

I worked at Ikaria full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Employees are nice, great product. Fast growing company, which could be both pro and con. Location is convenient and building is nice.

    Cons

Management has no respect for employees below director level. There is too much of a "boys club" feeling and if your not part of the boys club you don't count.

I worked at Ikaria (More than 3 years)

    Pros

In a small environment, everyone can make an impact. There is a lot of activity so days are never dull. The product in development has the potential to play an important role in the treatment of a life-threatening condition.

    Cons

The company's success hinges on the results of the clinical program for the development product. Financial resources are limited and thus there is pressure to do more with less.

    Advice to Management

Value the employees as they are key to the program's success.

    Pros

The employees were very friendly. The president of the company at the time that I worked there was very personable and friendly

    Cons

Management at the time was only looking to hire peopel from his previous company of employment. I was passed over for a job that I was doing for over 9 months so that he could hire one of his former employees. I wanted the job and she truely did not. Sadly I had to leave.

    Advice to Management

To over look an employee to hire a friend.

    Pros

Overtime and ok pay. Good product.

    Cons

You will be treated like dirt if you are a contractor. Management has no clue of what is going on and will treat you like crap. You are a minnion. Do as you are told, keep your mouth shut or be gone.

    Advice to Management

It wouldn't do any good. They wouldn't listen to it anyway and then you would be let go.
