    Caring and involved executives
    Interesting work

    Cons

Smaller company naturally means it doesn’t have the same breadth of opportunities supporting other programs if you want to switch jobs but remain with the company

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work—you’re appreciated!

I have been working at Ikun full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible attendance policy, great pay, great benefits

    Cons

Not a lot other than the site I am working at is closing its doors and there is no other local Ikun place to go to. The closest other Ikun job is an hour drive away.

I worked at Ikun full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting work to say the least

    Cons

-Management only promotes people they tend to like, more so than people who can do the job correctly
    -Favoritism
-Management kept changing how information was processed on a regular basis.

    Advice to Management

Promotions should be based off of hard work. Not favoritism to one person over another.

I worked at Ikun full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small company so really got to know the president and vice President of the company. They would occassionally take us out to lunch to boost morale and were emotionally supportive of us. Our COR was very difficult and our management worked very hard to help us find ways to manage/put up with the difficulties in order to meet the needs of the contract.

    Cons

When I worked there, there was a cheap health insurance plan with a very high copay and an expensive insurance plan with a very low copay. I think they may have added a midlevel insurance plan by now. Sometimes it was hard to find contact information for people within the Akima umbrella. But overall not many cons with Ikun

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. If you don't have a midlevel insurance plan yet then get one. Keep boosting employee morale and supporting your employees.

I have been working at Ikun full-time

    Pros

Not many... They overpay and hire a mass of incompetent temporary workers, then wonder why they are operating in the red.

    Cons

Management doesn't know what they are doing. They throw every resource at a problem and fail miserably. It's like 2 people woke up and decided... Let's open a warehouse, without any experience or knowledge.

    Advice to Management

the "warehouse" manager has absolutely no experience what so ever. The same "crisis" manager basically runs around with his head on fire and can't make any competent decisions. I predict the NJ warehouse will close within 6 months due to mismanagement.
