    Unbeatable Environment

    Pros

The culture at ICC is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Employees truly work as a team. They generally have a lot of employee events and really want to make it feel like a family.

    Cons

The pay for my position was pretty low.

Great teams, but lacking shared vision

    Pros

Small company with friendly and quality employees; good benefits including profit sharing and ESOP; up-to-date with technology used for security and collaboration; pride exists for being experts in niche

    Cons

CEO doesn’t communicate where the company is going and doesn’t create a burning reason why employees should care; no one can articulate the annual goals and how they are getting us to the ultimate goal, the vision; hierarchical; sort of stuck in industry’s archaic way of thinking and a little behind the times; double standards exist for execs including lack of respect for each other and others and lack of accountability

    Pros

Nice benefit package, decent employee appreciation week

    Cons

I wasn’t allowed to get up and go to the bathroom as frequently as I needed to without being reprimanded, favorites were clearly played by management, hard work was never appreciated, I wasn’t allowed to use my PTO

    Fantastic place to work

    Pros

ICC has a great benefits package, 401k match, a profit sharing program, unbeatable health plan, flexible work hours, good PTO schedule, visiting chaplains, volunteer opportunities, stocked kitchen with snacks, drinks, coffee, pays for educational classes related to your position, and many "events" for employees throughout the year. You are encouraged to share your opinion and suggestions are heard by management. The CEO has an open-door policy and means it. The atmosphere in the office is not clique-y and people encourage you/build you up, not tear you down. Everyone lends a hand, very "team-oriented" approach to success. HR does a great job with clear communication and assists you in private matters when needed.

    Cons

I did feel there was too much training and rules/regulations/structure when I first started, but once you get the hang of it you realize how beneficial it is to have that in place. There is a process for every single thing but it does streamline work- just takes some getting used to. However, structure is better than chaos!

    A disappointing experience

    Pros

Steady work, regular schedule with flexibility. Paid time off earned from day one Most of the proper tools are there to do your job with.

    Cons

Cliquish atmosphere where certain heads of departments think they're in charge of the whole building and whine at every opportunity available. There is no real leadership. The big boss is trying to make a country club out an insurance office with more of a budget going towards liquor and food rather than paying employees a decent wage. Like someone else mentioned, trying to get any additional hours practically requires an act of congress. There always seems to be plenty of money for frivolous expenses like excessive big screen TV's. I was treated like a thief because it took me an extra hour an a half to complete my duties one weekend. HR is no help either since they're pretty much in cahoots with managers. Good luck transferring to another department. If they don;t like they way you part your hair they'll disqualify you.

    Great Company, Greater Headaches

    Pros

Morale is great. Everyone gets along, but not in a clique. People work hard and typically push through work & obstacles with a high outlook. Good sense of humor throughout the building. CEO & Senior Management tend to listen to everyone's voice, regardless of their presence in the company. The entire staff is very goal-oriented and keeps the company moving forward.

    Cons

Lack of communication causes mass confusion throughout projects and departments. Too many ongoing projects/changes for departments to properly manage them all, and most projects are delayed exponentially if they aren't an urgent issue.

    A great place to work!!!!!!

    Pros

The company really cares about their employees. They show that by respect. ICC also has quarterly meetings in efforts to keep everyone informed. It is an open forum where you are encouraged to ask questions. The answers by the CEO are always honest. I can say in all honesty that I love working for ICC.

    Cons

The time it takes for changes. It has to go through many steps before it is either approved or denied. If approved, it takes even longer to get to the finished product in process. But, that could be anywhere these days. Salary and PTO. Even though they are generous, there are other companies providing the same services that are more generous with salaries and especially time off.

One of the better ones out there

    Pros

Competative salary, employee appreciation events, modified work week. Flex start time is available to certain extent, you have to set a schedule and stick to it for at least three months in a row.

    Cons

As with most companies there is an “in” crowd which enjoys special privileges and more perks Vacation could be more competitive. The company promotes an open door policy but no one is really comfortable using it.

    Poor leadership

    Pros

Really great benefits, decent pay, and nice 37.5 hour work week.

    Cons

Even though 37.5 hour work week, the expectations are to work many more hours if you are salary. If you are hourly and want to work a couple extra hours, it is like pulling teeth to get extra hours. They always discuss cutting back on budgets, however upper management will never cut back on luxurious trips for them and the agents.

    Pros

Although the company is growing, it maintains a small feel by showing each employee that their work is valued. It's rewarding to see how your contributions help to accomplish the company's goals. The days move quickly as you have a steady flow of work, but it never seems overwhelming. The CEO makes sure that everyone's opinion is heard and that accomplishments don't go unrecognized.

    Cons

None - great environment and great people
