I worked at Imagination Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Technology is very cutting-edge and work is interesting and varied.

    Cons

Management have no clue, groups do not talk to each other. CEO was obviously hired to sell the company. HR "lost" P45, I presume maliciously. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

Re-think who should work in HR

    Pros

    1. Every month end party and free lunch

    Cons

Lots of unsuitability . Hyderabad site local management is full of politics, as hyderabad site is originally hellosoft , the people behavior is rude and cunning.
The managers all are staying there from more than 12+ years without any actual product tapeout. Not single product has materialized from wifi divison .

Salary not upto the semiconductor industry standard
    Hr policies are bad .

    Advice to Management

Fire the hyderabad management team if you want to do something productive

I worked at Imagination Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Before I started I read a review here stating that it is a great learning opportunity but after a couple of years it will become stagnant. Very true, great years of learning, which ended in moving on towards something more interesting.

    Check list:
    Very flexible working hours
You will learn from the get go.
    Office's are very good.
We were like a big family in the team, met great people that is made for life.

    Cons

We were like a big family in the team, when people start to leave it gets tough.
    Understaffed, even more so now.
Bad pay, changing jobs got me 50% more, not fruits company.
"Market rate research" payrise that was promised disappointed many people.
Much administration is done on paper.
Upper management is out of touch with their employees concerns.
Reduction in staff benefits, e.g canteen prices etc

    Advice to Management

Find good staff, more pay,etc etc
What makes the company great is the engineers, what makes it bad is how they are treated.
