    Pros

I worked at Imagine Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    8 hours work shifts
    Friendly and helpful co-workers
No challenging tasks, a lot of copy paste work involved (can be a con too)
    No harsh performance reviews

    Cons

    Low compensation

Higher education need not be needed to do the daily tasks. After six months of employment you can be up and running without any degree (High school sufficient) or prior work experience.

Lot of emphasis on training but minimal output due to incompetent instructor. (More about reading from notes than to explain what it means)

Little growth opportunities as the management wants expects you to be doing the current role forever (>3years)

Some of the technologies are outdated which often causes a lot of deadlocks and client complaints. People are reluctant to change.

Work is more team focused than client focused. So most of the client queries get lost in pushing the query to other teams internally rather than trying to figure out on your own.

    Advice to Management

Give employees the opportunity to grow/progress. Training doesn't necessarily mean progress especially when the instructor is laid back.

Management needs to reconsider the compensation if they want to keep good employees.

    Pros

Lower-level workforce are friendly and want to make the company successful, but burn out quickly.

    Cons

A few of the partners are okay, but the president isn't interested in making it a place where you feel eager to invest your time and energy. As a result, great people fizzle out and seek employment elsewhere.

I have been working at Imagine Software full-time

    Pros

-Good learning opportunities, if you look for it
    -Casual environment
    -Great work/life balance

    Cons

-mgmt is always chasing after a new deal without fixing current products
-Not enough people to do all the work expected to get done

    -Favoritism from the partners
-Some partners make inappropriate/crude jokes constantly
    -Partnership doesn't work together
-every year is a "bad" year. Bonuses are never paid on-time and they never inform us on why it's late or how late it will be

    See cons.

I have been working at Imagine Software full-time

    Pros

    Good work/life balance
    Low pressure and casual environment
    Decent people

    Cons

Major lack of enthusiasm from all levels
    Odd management structure
Many projects lack ownership with little to no product manager defining scope
Sales sells products that don't exist, resulting in poorly thought out and maintainable projects

    Advice to Management

Bring in business analysts and product managers.
Stop just chasing the big deals and build a good product that is thought out and properly developed from the ground up.
    Pay bonuses on time.

    Pros

    very few and far between

    Cons

general apathy of good employees; too much of "dead wood"; management rules by favoritism; no sense of accomplishment; cliquey environment; good people leave or let go without any explanations and despite business sense; shortsightedness of management is unexplainable; no good deed goes unpunished; after a while "in a brine" - nauseating; bonuses are by "favoritism" rather then merit principles; management has no integrity, no conscience and no shame
