I worked at Imerys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are two pros that I noticed during my employment: time off flexibility and 401K matching.

    Cons

I would need a few pages to list the cons, but I think the ones that are worth to mention here are: politics are more important than creating value; management lacks formal business experience and is very resistant to change; there is no team-work or collaboration between groups which results in a chaotic business environment; very old technology and poor IT support management; sub standard benefits; no work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Training, knowledge and technology will lead to success - empower the employees with the knowledge that will help them create value and embrace the change that will benefit the company as a whole. Invest in the technology that will help the company streamline processes and automate tasks. Train the management in business management and leadership to enable them to take educated decisions and lead their employees.
