Pros
Kim York is amazing and the team she has built. She makes sure everyone is included and having fun in the office and at our events. At imminent the mangers really help you with your opportunity advancement in the industry. This 6-8 month program helps not only ur professional development but your personal development. And it is really amazing how the leaders in the company show u how you are growing. There’s a quote that I love and that’s If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L means first attempt in learning; end is not the end, in fact E.N.D means Effort never dies; if you get no as a answer, remember N.O means next opportunity. Imminent is a prime example of character and integrity.
Cons
No cons for imminent great company and fast growth advancement

Our management training program is the single most important part of the process here, and the part that so many people get to benefit from. We look forward to your continued growth and success with our organization.

Mislead, DO NOT WORK HERE
Aug 22, 2022 - Marketing Associate in Lombard, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
They have a book club.
Cons
The job description was extremely misleading. If you enjoy harassing people at Costco to sell certain number of like fans, then this is the job for you. Went in thinking this was going to provide good marketing experience. Started by memorizing a scripted sales pitch for oscillating fans. Then had to drive to a Costco to set up the aisle display and stop everyone who passed in hopes that we could sell like 200 units. Very disappointed with what the job ended up being plus they pay was absolutely horrible. They make it sound like you will be making decent money when you interview, but it’s not the case. Straight up felt like I was scammed. Oh, and they will talk about entrepreneurship and growth but don’t expect it. DO NOT WORK HERE!!! SAVE YOUR SELF. Oh, and the “office” is just a suite (one large room and a reception area) with wipe off boards on all four walls. Hope you like standing. Such a joke of a company.

We’re so confused - are you sure you have the right company? We have never sold oscillating fans in our history, our office has four private offices, a conference room, a classroom and a lobby… but oscillating fans…? We are so confused. We would be happy to communicate further at hr@imminentil.com please!

Pros
I love the culture that Imminent has to offer. People here are genuinely interested in developing people so that they can become more confident and successful. I have been able to develop professional relationships with successful people and got the chance to learn from the best! In addition to that the balance at Imminent between personal/professional development and just having fun is something that is really great for this position. :D
Cons
Nothing that I can think of :D.

If you are in marketing don’t even try it

Friendly people Lots of training Employee outings
Cons
Pushy leaders/boss Guilt tripping you when you ask for a day off Humiliation if you don’t sell enough product Try to tell you you’re wrong if it goes against their beliefs. Money from your paycheck goes missing and you are told to ignore it. If you try to be respectful and put a 2 weeks notice in they will have you selling a product you know nothing about and have you do a lot of things that you have never even learned. Boss will often try to make you feel stupid for knowing that this is a terrible position. Boss tells you “this job/career is more important than your family”

Wow - we’re so sorry for your experience! We’re not sure where the disconnect would be here… we would NEVER say this career is more important than your family. How could we have any team at all? But, if this was the way you felt or the message you thought you were getting, then huge miss on our part and we’re so sorry. We are glad that you found our staff really friendly and that you felt like you got lots of training, though! That’s huge and we do pride ourselves on both of those things. Hope you have found something you’re truly happy with!

One of the best growth opportunities around
Jun 30, 2022 - Campaign Manager in Lombard, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I came from the background of accounting and finance and there was absolutely no room for growth within my last role- so coming here to Imminent it has been the total opposite. I get daily hands on training from upper management, its very team oriented, fun positive work culture, hands on business development training, and overall just a peaceful fun environment. I have been with the company for a while and have had so much growth and development.
Cons
have to be really organized, which has never been my strong point its a daily work habit im building.

Pros
I love it here! I’ve been here for a few months and I really love my position here at Imminent. The biggest thing for me is the people I’m working with, and I absolutely got in with a great team here at this company. The management team is really accessible and actually listens, the leadership/training team I felt like really cared when they were training me, and now that I work closely with a lot of them I would genuinely consider them my friends. Overall I just saw when I started, and still do now, that everyone here works hard to make a new addition to the team feel welcome. Aside from team culture, my other favorite part is the emphasis on personal and professional development. A lot of companies will tout things like this but rarely do I see them put their money where their mouth is. Yet a few weeks into starting I had already learned a lot about myself, gained more confidence, learned more about financials, and had a promotion! So no question did Imminent deliver on making sure I was experiencing personal and professional development. And obviously, all that had only continue as I hit my 3 month mark here recently. I’ve also seen others get promoted, too, - I’ve seen a management promotion and a handful of others move up as well, so I can see the growth happening around me. Anyway, I can just overall tell I’m getting what I was promised and that’s super important to me.
Cons
I would say that sometimes you’re learning from people who are still learning. I got trained by several different trainers and whil I liked all of them, I could tell there were differences in the more veteran versus the newer ones in things like confidence levels, etc.
