    Great company and employees. Great work environment and upper management was willing to help

    Cons

    Hours were long 5am-3pm.

    Great management, easy to work with and family oriented

    best location and building in Century City - inside the CAA offices.
    office happy hours and employee relationship building opportunities

    Cons

    high pressure environment
    some cattyness within the EA pool
    high turnover of other executive assistants

    I have been working at Imperial Capital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Good actual deal flow, not just constant pitches
    - Good generalist program, opportunity to work on both M&A and leveraged finance deals
    - Collegial atmosphere - people generally aren't trying to work to death

    Cons

    - HR needs a serious upgrade
    - Better hiring practices, there needs to be a better structured hiring process that is on time with other investment banks
    - Understaffed at the jr level and HR's hiring abilities don't help

    I got a lot of valuable experience that eventually allowed me to transition to a better job.

    Cons

    Very long hours (2008 - 2010) / 24/7 mentality although things might have changed.

    Advice to Management

    Increase mentorship of junior staff. Even more than the pay check, they are there to learn.

    For the most part everyone lets you do your job with little to no interference, which makes doing your job much easier

    Cons

    Sometimes getting the right information to do your job correctly is the hardest thing to do and makes working here very frustrating. If you're not a money maker, you're dispensable.
