I have been working at Incipio full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I have worked at this company on and off for about 7 years. I left under previous leadership as their values did not align with mine. After returning to the company, it was a bit of a roller coaster in between finding the right leadership team but now with the new leadership team and Brian as our CEO, I am very happy. It has definetely been a journey to get to where we are now. The new team has really taken the time to focus on improving the culture and the overall business. I am super happy here and I am happy to be able to contribute to rebuilding a business that was so poorly led before and making Incipio what it deserves to be for the amazing people that work so hard to get things done. There have been a lot of changes in staff but for the better. This company used to be a very toxic environment and the new team has and is slowly weeding out that culture which I really appreciate since culture is the most important thing I look for in any job I have. The last super important part of this is bonuses, under the new leadership I finally received a bonus, we didn't get those under the last team.

    Cons

Although very small, politics will always bother me at any company, I just don't have the energy to participate. I appreciate the new leadership slowly ridding the company of this toxicity and the work speaking for itself. Workload has been a little overwhelming but with the changes in staff I feel like this is really just growing pains. Management before had no processes in place and sort of left behind a mess to be clean up but with that comes an opportunity to help implement processes and be a part of the solution.

I have been working at Incipio full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

no much peer pressure with your coworkers

    Cons

Really low compensation range. Poor management. The senior management group doesn't understand the industry, and make judgements based on guessing. Promotions and raises are not given as promised even if you achieved all the goals and requirements. When they really need you, they will make fake promises to keep you here, but once they find a replacement, they will kick you out of the door with no mercy. I have seen too many examples like that over the years. Serving your boss is way more important and being good at your job, as it's the only way to get appreciation. At least 10 experienced middle management employees were fired because of office politics. Don't waste your time here.

I worked at Incipio full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Stocked kitchen and many friendly coworkers who made day-to-day work bearable. Generous employee discounts on products. Newest CEO is a really nice guy who seems to care a lot.

    Cons

Inflated job titles set incompetent middle managers on power trips. Too many people with "VP" "Director" "Manager" or "Senior" in their titles for how small the company is. Almost every single meeting is made up of 2 or 3 of these people arguing while the other 10 people in the room silently waste time. Super high turnover because there are layoffs every ~3 months and anybody who's ambitious about his or her career leaves voluntarily. This prevents any decent workplace culture from developing and morale is nonexistent. Failing industry. Since 2017: 3 CEOs, at least 3 CFOs, 3 COOs, and a consulting firm on payroll likely getting paid more than anybody else. No room for growth unless you're lucky enough to replace someone in the right spot who gets laid off. Wages are below standard across all departments. Double standards for employee treatment contribute to lack of morale. Some show up at 9:30, leave before 5:00, can work remotely when they please, and take most Fridays off. Others are scrutinized for leaving the building without working exactly 8 hours a day and don't have the option to work remote or take short days. Micromanaging is rampant and prevents any real learning or development. Petty workplace politics. I've never seen a more immature culture of gossiping and trash-talking fellow coworkers in a professional environment.

I worked at Incipio full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There used to be free lunch and then they took that away. If you like a party culture, then I guess that's a pro. If you really need to build your resume, just serve your time and get out as fast as you can.

    Cons

The company just sees you as a dollar sign. You'll love it for the first few months, until they give you more than a normal workload. They low ball on salary, expect hourly employees to work outside of office hours, and room for growth is limited.

    I worked at Incipio full-time

    Pros

Nice office, free snacks, fair compensation and work life balance (if you can stay employed long enough)

    Cons

Extremely high turnover rate, lack of trust and qualified leadership, teams siloed, double digit year over year revenue decline for the past several years, semi-annual layoffs, bad culture, lack of trust within teams and leadership. Survival of the fittest.

I worked at Incipio full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Employees come and go whenever they want. You can start at 10am or so, leave at 4pm or whenever you like, take 2 hours long lunches, no one cares/watches. I've never seen anything like this in my career. - If you work remotely like some VP's or Sales people, you can probably work 2 days a week and answer some emails randomly and you are fine. - Free snacks/drinks

    Cons

    - EVERYONE -except Sr. management and CEO - wants to leave this company - Unqualified Sr. management, zero leadership skills or any skill at all - No processes, things happen either by luck or by accident - Everyone is responsible for everything, so no one can be held accountable - Sr. management is totally disconnected from the rest of the company - When problems are identified no one takes actions - People managers have no people management skills or experience - No empathy, no culture, cutthroat type of environment - Every 6 months they layoff people - It's going out of business

I worked at Incipio full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There are still a few good people fighting an uphill battle to implement change . Most people work half days on Friday’s or don’t come in at all.

    Cons

Constant turnover. Between the lay-offs and people leaving the company, employee moral is almost nonexistent. New CEO (there’s been 3 in the past 2 years) made it clear; you have to work 24/7 but now is not the time to worry about trivial things like getting a raise. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Seems like there’s a new VP of something or other every week, anything to keep people from leaving. Completely disorganized. Upper management stifles any kind of creativity and innovation due to their unreasonable timelines, lack of shared knowledge and communication between departments, AND the horrible factories that they’re financially tied to. Incipio was a great place to work at one time but that time has long passed.
