I worked at Incipio full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company offers free breakfast and lunch but only to the office employees not the warehouse employees

    Cons

Working at Incipio was like being back in high school and the CEO was the principal. He walked around looking to get people in trouble. There was also some nepotism, causing delays and wrong communication with vendors but the responsible person was not accountable. on the contrary they blame other people.

    Advice to Management

Nnepotism could not be allowed. Instead of micromanaging and spreading doubts management should be more professional.

I worked at Incipio full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Used to have free breakfast and lunch. That’s about it.

    Cons

They used to have awesome perks (free breakfast and lunch everyday, great benefits, and a great atmosphere.) they always talked about hitting goals and talks about buying companies. That was all a front. The CEO only gravitated to a few people in the office, but wouldn’t care about the rest. The marketing girls were trash and didn’t know what they were doing. CEO was fond of them only because they were “pretty,” but were...

I have been working at Incipio full-time

    Pros

Used to have free breakfast everyday and stored snacks

    Cons

Company is failing financially. Bank had to step in and buy it last year and owns 76% of the company to save it. Collection companies always call the company lines and email in for past due statements. 40+ employees were laid off a week ago right before Thanksgiving and the holidays. Some had only been there for 3 or 4 months and then laid off!

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who know what they are doing

    I worked at Incipio full-time

    Pros

There are a lot of amazing friends to be found at this company. Luckily, I've made quite a few while working there. There used to be free breakfast (think they eliminated that), stocked snacks, and .... well that's about it.

    Cons

Complete internal combustion. Please know that the only positive reviews of the company in the past year were written by one of the girls on the marketing team who get paid ten times what they should. The company is cliquey, the managers (save for about two) are all friends of the previous CEO who have little to no experience and the first thing they do when taking on water is scrape everything they can from the employees....

    I worked at Incipio full-time

    Pros

Met some really nice people who I’ve stayed friends with. Many were helpful and willing to answer questions and lend a hand. I was fortunate to be on a hard-working team who was always there to help. Casual dress code was nice as was the fully-stocked kitchen. Free breakfast was so good! Generous employee discount and free product.

    Cons

An absolute train wreck. The company is going through some hard times, has no direction, and there is a lack of communication from upper management, leaving employees in the dark. People are quitting left and right, leaving others to do the work they left behind. So many people, including myself, were overworked and doing the full-time jobs of 2+ people. There was not much work/life balance. The company seemed to...

    Advice to Management

Hire people who have EXPERIENCE and can bring the company back on track. Don’t hire “people you know” who have no idea what they’re doing for higher level positions because that’s why the company is in the state it’s in. Communicate with your employees, be transparent, and, ask for open and honest feedback...and WORK WITH IT. You’re losing employees because of this. Do something about company culture because there...

Hard to say. Free lunch until they cut it.

    Cons

These people buy companies promising the world and then gut them. Watched it happen over and over.

    Advice to Management

Try another line of work. You don't know what you are doing.

    I worked at Incipio full-time

    Pros

I met a few great people along the way and learned a lot about myself and the type of people I DON'T want to work for.

    Cons

The company culture here is very juvenile. The CEO refers to his older Marketing/PR girls as "Seniors" and younger Marketing/PR girls as "Juniors." Aside from the highly inappropriate CEO, management isn't much better. Management would rather point fingers and blame lower level employees than admit they dropped the ball. When trying to keep projects on track and hold managers accountable for providing needed information...

    Advice to Management

If it's not too late at this point the company culture needs to change. Treat people with respect and value your employees. Don't yell at them or run around the office screaming at the top of your lungs, it's actually really scary and doesn't make anyone want to work there.

    I worked at Incipio full-time

    Pros

They used to provide free lunch that was prepared by an in house chef & a couple of cooks, but because the company is failing (revenue wise), they only do breakfast now. Another awesome perk is the monthly farmer's market - everything is free since the company provides you with $20 of vouchers to use at all of the vendors. There's so much free product floating around (samples), which is cool. The xmas holiday party...

Upper management doesn't really listen to what you have to say. I tried pitching creative ideas to the global creative director but they were just ignored, literally. All of the creatives are just little people & are expected to do whatever it takes. I've heard from others that upper management gets angry when others actually leave on time (meaning they put in their 8 hour day), & have gotten in trouble for only...

    Advice to Management

Hire people that have 5+ years under their belt for management positions. Please stop hiring people that are straight out of college, it's annoying & they aren't qualified. Also consider when an employee wants to advance into another department, give them a chance. You could of saved a lot of money of getting me trained, instead of wasting money on hiring a new person from overseas, that also got laid off.
