    Pros

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Indagare Travel full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Team-minded climate with great heart and spirit. Passion for excellence and for travel.

    Cons

Rigid role structure. Not much room for development of skills to change roles within company. Not much work-life balance. Myopic worldview that caters to 1%.

    Advice to Management

A business model that considers Employees number 1 stakeholders rather than investors. Less hours and better work-life balance works in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.

I worked at Indagare Travel full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Travel Benefits, Young and Fun group of employees

    Cons

Everyone on the trip planning side of things is extremely over worked. Work is mandatory on weekends and there is little to no sympathy for the lives of employees.

    Advice to Management

Better your business model so that you can hire more people to do the work, without having to hire more clients which only creates more work.

I worked at Indagare Travel full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Major travel perks (ability to visit far-off destinations and stay at top-notch luxury resorts) - Great colleagues!! - CEO is extremely smart and engaging - Working at a company that encourages people to explore the world! - Working with some very cool and inspiring clients - Rolling out exciting new partnerships

    Cons

    - extremely stressful - zero work/ life balance for minimal pay (amount of work does not come close to salary) - employees are never backed by the exec team when there is a client issue, even when the employee is not at fault - the environment can be very challenging when everyone is so stressed (there can be weeks where many employees will cry) - adding more and more procedures/ rules which often make working more challenging

    Cons

Not necessarily a con but important to note that this is not a 9-5, especially if you are in a client-facing role

    Advice to Management

I worked at Indagare Travel full-time

    Pros

    - Powerful, inspiring leaders there who are incredible to learn from - Ability to travel on behalf of the company - Great exposure to different destinations around the world - Helpful lessons in organization and prioritization

    Cons

    - Lack of on-boarding - Company could be more diverse - High turnover and often have company re-organizations that result in lay-offs

    Advice to Management

    - Offer more support and resources to new employees to learn the Indagare way. There is a big learning curve when you join Bookings Team - learning client personalities, how company databases work, managing an overflowing inbox with client demands as well as internal team expectations - and it would have been helpful to have more training regarding those responsibilities.
