I have been working at Index full-time

    Pros

Index always offers you challenges, adventures and is a constant source of inspiration.
The crew is intelligent, welcoming, likes to have fun, there's a great community, you feel like you're working with your friends.

    Cons

Because it deals with news and it's online and constantly inspiring, it is hard to keep your private, off-work space. Also you have to struggle a lot for a reasonable wage. They do give good money for the more experienced and more senior crew but you have to put a lot of effort (beyond your work) to get recognized, and it doesn't work out for everybody.

    Advice to Management

provide a more open communication about wages and perspectives. try to put more effort on the additional benefits, too.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees nicer, and do something about the outrages wage differences between male and female employees.

I worked at Index full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Since its one of the biggest online news portals in the country working there looks good on your CV . High loads and lots of products to work around.

    Cons

Absolutely no management whatsoever. No motivation, no feedback, no career opportunities. Many people demotivated and a very poor atmosphere to work in. Hard to get any ideas through and if possible, no feedback on the results.

    Advice to Management

It would be great to share some advice with upper management, but since management doesn't exist it is really hard to say anything at all.
