      Very best reason to join indian oil is, it is PSU & provides a stable job opportunity. Just clear gate with good score & join it.

      It's considered that BPCL is better than IOCL & management also good there. better to join BPCL rather than IOCL

      I would like to advice to management of Indian Oil that make the offer more attractive as it's big firm & also graduates other than india could also join it.

      Benefits are almost same to all the employees of same grade irrespective of the efforts put in. Mandatory Transfer over three to four years time

      Starting salary is good enough. Opportunity to gain technical knowledge. Like any govt. job health cover and security of tenure. Comparing to 12 hr private jobs the working hours are decent enough.

      Poor staff ....doesn't want to work. Trade union are very powerful and even ED's are helpless (specially in Bengal as expected). Poor work practices. No discipline among staff (Sleeping during duty hours/Straigh refusal of work/Overtime for no job at all).This kills morale of officers (young graduates). Lack of innovation and no adoption of best practices. Poor carreer growt both in terms of job quality and pay...

      government culture can sometimes be a problem. staff is not keen on working. limited scope for growth.
