    I worked at Indian Oil

    Pros

I had a great time with my mentor and my mentor! The other colleagues present there also helped me a lot with the learning process whenever I got stuck! There were a lot of opportunities to learn, not only about the project that I was working on but also about other things. Like the backbone of the server infrastructure that the company uses.

    Cons

There was not a proper workplace for the interns over there in the IT department! The interns were made to sit in presentation rooms and were made to leave the room when there were presentations happening.

    Pros

    Chill atmosphere, good compensation

    Cons

    Bureaucratic. Slow learning curve

    Advice to Management

Nothing much. It is understandable that hierarchies will exist in a Navaratna firm. However try to employ and promote good candidates

    Pros

Less workload, friendly atmosphere, experienced and helpful colleagues, timely delivery of software and many more pros. They have a nice mess to have food in as well.

    Cons

Old office and working tools is the main con of working at Indian Oil Corporation Limited. They don't have qualified, but experienced staff.

    Advice to Management

Please recruit based upon the skills rather than recruiting on the basis of the qualification. Graduate of any kind is handed over any kind of work.
