I have been working at Indian Oil full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Organisational culture is very good and there is job security in this organisation. Pan India locations help in location. Good pay and perks at all levels.

      Cons

Stagnation after few levels in the company and Management is a little risk averse. Management doesn’t recognise good efforts and job shirking is rampant.

I have been working at Indian Oil for more than a year

      Pros

Job Security Benefits Good exposure as you can be asked to do pretty much anything

      Cons

Low Opportunities for Growth No focus on goals Outdated, bureaucratic culture focused on pleasing superiors Almost Non-existent HR No limit or definition on scope of responsibilities

      Advice to Management

There is tremendous exposure, which is good. But at the same time, there is no enjoyment. Developing a human resource system from scratch is required, which actually works for the employees.
