    Pros

    None I know of Titanic

    Cons

Apathetic nursing care, dirty, long ER wait times, CEO Susi paid One-Million-Dollar annual salary, which is paid by taxpayers, hospital always in the red

    Advice to Management

This is a sinking ship and is bleeding the community dry. Do the taxpayers a favor and sell

    Pros

    Great co-workers, supported each other

    Cons

Management did not acknowledge, or give a pat on the back, when something was well done---there was a need for this. Positive feedback makes an employee feel good and want to do even more.

    Advice to Management

    Acknowledge a job well done

complete overhall of executive mangement, concentrate on fixing what we have before expansions. The ER department needs to be made a priority Re: staffing competent physicians and nurses .

I have been working at Indian River Medical Center/IRMC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Some of the best RNs and staff in the business, caring and dedicated to patients and each other. I witnessed and received many acts of kindness there.

    Cons

Upper management does not recognize the dedication of employees, very unsafe conditions for both employees and patients in some areas as well as medically unsafe decisions made based on financial considerations.

    Advice to Management

When making decisions ask those who are impacted most before implementing change, they are best suited for giving sound input.

Education reimbursement is about the only decent thing here.

    Cons

Constant lay-offs, threats of lay-offs, pay cuts, hours cut, benefits are extremely costly. Short staffed and trying to do more with less.

    Advice to Management

Show more financial appreciation to the employees instead of your own wallets.
