    Pros

The company has good stability, been in business for 60 plus years. Paid weekly, provides uniforms...monthly bonuses based on net profit of sales

    Cons

Low pay...they have no sick or personal days so if you are sick you either take an unpaid day( to a max of 7 per year) or you have to use vacation time.... Difficult to advance in pay....dont encourage being proactive or change...very poor management - shop relationship..very low morale....

    Advice to Management

Get with the times......encourage new ideas from shop people.... Treat everyone equal

I worked at Inductotherm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Profit sharing and monthly bonuses are nice. The job is stable. If you do your work, you will probably keep your job. If you are an engineer, this is a great place to work. If you are a man, there's lots of room for advancement here.

    Cons

If you are a woman, there is not a lot of room for advancement for you. Most of the women in the company are in clerical jobs. Also, the culture is very unfriendly and old-fashioned. No work-life balance.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat women like they are inferior to you. Also, be open to new ideas. What worked in the 50's is not always the best way anymore.

    Pros

Great place to work. Retirement benefits are great, but vacation is lacking. The management works along side all the employees which is neat.

    Cons

The company is a little slow pace and you could get bored if you know a lot of technology.

    Advice to Management

Some management is micromanaging and they need to take a step back. The company has hired us for a specific job because we have degrees in these fields. A President with an engineering background shouldn't be giving Accounting advice

    Cons

low initial pay. Pay raises come slowly, only once per year and rarely keep pace with inflation. Technology is lagging behind...need better computer systems and programs

    Advice to Management

merit pay raises should be common for the best workers, not an exception rarely used

    Pros

Work is entirely inside a climate controlled building.

    Cons

Management blows off employees complaints and concerns. Workflow isn't well planned and balanced to maintain steady work hours throughout the year. HR makes a lot of promises to applicants, and find out the company won't back those promises, such as promotions or benefits.

I worked at Inductotherm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working time is very fix, always from 08:00-17:00.
You can find many resources which you might need in your position.
The manager always asking for a results, they didn't care about what are you doing during the jobs.

    Cons

Most of this company's employee aren't familiar with English, it might be a big problems to negotiate without using Taiwanese or Mandarin Chinese.
Vice president asked so many tasks to do, it might cause a lot of time to deal with that.
Work employee always didn't like to cooperate, they just do the simple jobs instead complex tasks if no indicated.
The employee who works at electrical department didn't give you many assists, you always need done the tasks on your own.

    Advice to Management

You should hire more employees to down the loading of R&D department.
You should take more cares about your employees.
