I worked at Infineon Technologies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company has a big name so you get to work in a good environment with very intelligent people to learn from.

    Cons

While there are many people to learn from, it is a big company with set rules and heirarchy which means, you may not always get the time you need from seniors or peers to learn from.

    Pros

High tech semiconductor company. Solid technical know how. Very international with many sites. Teams working together and creating good spirit.

    Cons

Its a very politcal company on higher management level with lots of kingdoms. Salary is not really attractive but also not bad. Very heavy processes.

    Advice to Management

You better introduce lean processes and lean management. An open working spirit should be implicit part of decision and policy deployment. Help creative ideas proactively.

I have been working at Infineon Technologies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great international atmosphere, many opportunities to learn through taking up opportunities beyond current job scope.

    Cons

HR is acting in administrative mode (although claiming otherwise) which leads to missed opportunities to rotate talents across organizations.

    Advice to Management

Innovation is great and keeps engineers happy, but many times customers are happy with less, but in time and at cost.

I have been working at Infineon Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The offices are nice, there is a good cantine on the premise and I really appreciate the flexibility in working hours. The people are open and friendly and the location in Campeon is really nice.

    Cons

Because the company is not a software company, the focus is on support and production and products and not so much on the new available technologies. I think some upgrade of the target technologies should be more in focus.
