I have been working at Infinite Campus full-time

    Pros

The environment is relaxed and casual, yet highly productive. Campus is family friendly and offers flexible work schedules. The CEO is involved and active throughout the company and community. Great perks and smart people!

    Cons

No cons to add at this time.

I worked at Infinite Campus (More than 3 years)

    Pros

IC has built a great group of people working towards a consistent company vision, there's free lunch and fun events, depending on your project domain the work can be really fun.

    Cons

The tech stack isn't super exciting and there's a weird emphasis on design for a product that continues to look very outdated. There's a huge unacknowledged glass ceiling for women wanting to progress into leadership roles.

    Advice to Management

Any meeting that isn't standup or one-on-one is a waste of time. Consider pairing to increase productivity and decrease the number of people redditing or watching movies as they "code".

I worked at Infinite Campus full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great group of individuals
    free lunch
    casual dress

    Cons

Flat organization makes for very absent management.
I would prefer better healthcare over free lunch
workload and knowledge expected is high. you are set up for failure from the beginning
resources needed to get the job done are lacking
too many hats worn. the support team needs to be tiered to be effective.

I have been working at Infinite Campus full-time

    Pros

The company culture is amazing and the setting inside (and out) is great. The building design allows for frequent cross-functional collaboration. Management supports an agile development environment. Outside, the building sits next to a park with trails and a lake. The staff is dynamic and talented. People are respectful and professional, even within a very casual atmosphere. The 401K match is the highest I have had at any company I've worked for. Generous salary and PTO.

    Cons

Healthcare coverage could be better. It's an HSA with a very high deductible/out of pocket. No bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Improve health care coverage. Would like pension, profit sharing, and/or bonuses.

    Pros

It is an expanding company that promotes growth. If you want more opportunities and responsibilities, management does its best to accommodate. Work hard, play hard without too much micromanagement.

    Cons

Because it is growing quickly, there could be a need for staff to be trained on workplace issues (dos and don'ts).

    Pros

Free lunch!! That's a positive. You're not micromanaged, well depending on your boss. There is some room for growth, although I'm waiting to see it. Rock climbing wall, free beverages, koi pond.

    Cons

HR IS HORRIBLE. One lady in particular is very rude the way she talks to other people and the things she say. It sucks cause she is HR so who can you report it too? Well do report it to your manager.

I have been working at Infinite Campus full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They treat you like adults and are flexible if you need to miss work for appointments, etc. The environment is relaxing yet very productive. The perks of free lunch and a beautiful building also help.

    Cons

Communication between manager and employee is inconsistent at times. Not a clear path to advance in some roles.

I have been working at Infinite Campus full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Laid back environment, highly talented and passionate individuals, flexible telecommuting policy, middle management actually cares and provides lots of value, free lunch every day (really), generous PTO, the CEO actually cares about the Mission Statement more so than the bottom line

    Cons

Clueless HR department, career advancement is a slow process without much support, health care benefits are sub-par

    Advice to Management

Work on career growth with employees better. It's important that employees don't feel they've peaked early in their careers. The HR department needs to be more approachable.

I have been working at Infinite Campus full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Perks galore! Lots of opportunity for growth. Not corporate ladder growth, but personal/professional growth to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

    Cons

Disconnect between departments. Need consistency and direction from senior management.
