I have been working at Infoblox full-time

    Pros

Strong new leadership team. Cutting-edge products and a robust roadmap. A CEO who lives the values. Fun and caring environment. A lot of smart, committed people who are proud of their work. A really good culture to be around all day.

    Cons

Sometimes we move too fast and take on a lot more than we can actually achieve.

    Advice to Management

Keep the culture front and center, even through the next phase of change. Our people are the reason for our success. We've made great strides improving our culture over the last 2 years. We're on the right trajectory. Keep it going.

    Pros

Strong core product; generally happy customer base; great field team. Deep in the center of the largest networks. CEO willing to take any question in front of whole team. Big upside if they can come up with cool new products.

    Cons

Exec management very new and from larger company backgrounds. Could do better job communicating the strategy and focusing.

    Advice to Management

Listen to sales guys as much as possible. Use fantastic advantages and experience Infoblox has. Dont try to do too much.

I worked at Infoblox as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a great experience as an intern here, theres lots of awesome events that the interns get to take part in, and you also get some great hands-on experience in your chosen field. Everyone is extremely nice, and there were multiple intern talks with the founder and CEO throughout the summer that made your time there feel important.

    Cons

At points I felt very overwhelmed with information and a lack of guidance. However, you do get very real and valuable experience in a multitude of areas.

    Pros

Company packed with excellent people, at all levels. Fantastic product range. A "nice to be in" place.

    Cons

Maybe too focused in a too rapid growth put an enormous pressure on activities

    Advice to Management

Listen to the lower levels more and more

    Pros

Lots of energy, smart people, focus on building a great culture, taking on the challenge of growing to a multi-billion dollar company.

    Cons

Going through some growing pains. Lots of investment in new systems, processes etc to help us scale effectively to a billion dollars and beyond.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing - be transparent; invest in scale; hire the best for where we will be 2 years from now.

  9. "fun place to work and grow"

    StarStarStarStarStar

Current Intern - Anonymous Intern in Santa Clara, CA

I have been working at Infoblox as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

close-knit community, very nice people, relaxed but productive culture, still relatively new and growing so can be hands-on with many people from all different rankings (but hardly notice these rankings)

    Cons

lots of changes in short periods of time, still some processes that need to be tightened up

I have been working at Infoblox (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great networking opportunities
Still has that "small company" feel
High pay (especially for an internship!)
"Lunch & learn" events to raise awareness about other departments & their functionality
Wide open doors - if I want to learn a skill or learn more about a particular role, I can schedule time with top level executives & work on projects for them
The CEO of the company (Jesper Andersen) and founder (Stuart Bailey) made an effort to get to know the interns and talk to them. This was one of the coolest parts of the programs.

    Cons

    Initially management seems unorganized
Slow IT turnover times (I've had a broken monitor for over a week - submitted a ticket for it via IT, but nobody has gotten back to me yet)
    Often expected to work overtime

    Advice to Management

I would advise management to have a firmer grasp on what they want their interns to do before we show up. Weekly meetings (like I have with my boss) are a nice touch - keep it up!
