I have been working at Infocrossing full-time

    Pros

Co workers, good exposure to offshoring model, great way to learn what not to do.

    Cons

Short sighted management, rotates every couple years. Decisions made without thinking long term, just what can get noticed while on rotation. Always reactive instead of proactive. Company doesn't treat employees well, OK benefits, but doesn't give yearly cost of living increases and always takes the cheap route. Outdated systems and infrastructure. Wipro is too cheap to do things right. Always short cut solutions. Incredibly high turnover. Continued movement of positions to India and shrinking of US team. Your ceiling is pretty limited unless you are from India. No real path for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Plan a little and look beyond your 2-3 year rotation. People aren't commodities, you might be able to get away with it back home in India, but it isn't a successful strategy in US.

I worked at Infocrossing full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I didn't eat the free bagels

    Cons

Long hours No pay increases Teams both on shore and off hard to get a hold of.

Virtual and Recovery Service are bad but Monitoring is worse. 100 device down tickets in the middle of the night for a server that was retired and the Monitoring team didn't even look at the ticket for 2 weeks.

    Pros

High quality of staff, flexibility to work from home when needed, opportunities to work with current technology.

    Cons

Work hours are long and unpredictable; lots of evening/weekend work expected, often with no advance notice. Chronically short-staffed, but Wipro management will seldom permit hiring or backfilling vacancies in the USA.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to meet unreasonable expectations from Wipro leadership. Staff up adequately to deliver on customer expectations without burning out / losing more employees. Existing employees are getting squeezed to the breaking point. This must stop, or Infocrossing will lose all its talent and fail.
