I worked at Infomatix (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've worked for this company remotely for 4 years. They were correct with me. I worked 4-5 project during this time. Mostly they were fit into my skills (.net)

    Cons

Last year our division is closed and they moved us to the BI team. We had to create reports using a BI tool. It was really boring.

    I worked at Infomatix full-time

    Pros

Many opportunities to improve; interesting industry; professional surroundings; moving desk policy; sense of community enforced; home office possibility; some managers have a very humane approach

    Cons

last-minute changes; depressing, anxious atmosphere; huge fluctuation in employees; intimidating board meetings; dry-delivered, awkward onboarding; lack of coordination & delegation; employees asked to write positive reviews here; payment is so-so

    Advice to Management

Give your department leaders more autonomy and work towards a more humane atmosphere

I worked at Infomatix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

International Clients - multilingual environment, real life issues to solve
Good projects in great teams, BI challenges - if you are lucky
    Friendly culture, free Friday lunch

    Cons

No real management - no one has managerial background among the Bosses
Ad-Hoc, frequent replanning (not really planning just daily ideas translated)
Values will be turned against you (you are not Agile enough...)
    No Human Resources management

    Advice to Management

    Learn and listen
People should be treated like your assets, without them nothing works.

I have been working at Infomatix full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Young, talented and hard-working colleagues. Great opportunities to develop both your hard and soft skills. You can work with well-known multinational companies from the beginning of your career. Nice office and company events. Free lunch on every Friday.

    Cons

The internal human resource management is ineffective, therefore the workload for most of the employees is unbalanced. Salary is not competitive, and there is no overtime pay. No space to share ideas. Lack of expertise in many areas. Lack of real innovation. Top-level managers rarely communicate with you. People are constantly leaving the company.

    Advice to Management

Put more effort into developing innovative products. Listen to employees and take their advice. Figure out how to keep talents.

I worked at Infomatix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Simple to get hired. Juniors welcome. Good atmosphere. Easy to get into a nice position where you can talk with customers. You can improve fast and effective.

    Cons

Salary is a bad joke. You have bosses where you're treated like an animal, sometimes even worse. They smile in your face and lie whatever you want to hear. Career is easy to get but it always pricey. You get 2-3 FTE-s for the salary of 1. Lots of work, demanding and no thanks at all. If you want to suggest something then you're treated as an enemy but not getting fired since they need you like hell. If you leave they have to find another person to get into your position to produce 3-400% profit at the least. AVG period people stays there is 9 months (I survived for almost 2 years)

    Advice to Management

Get someone who knows how to treat people. Get behind the curtain. Don't talk with real people.

    Pros

Ideas are worth to present and develop. Ideal workplace for those who aspire to be leaders one day. Immense amount of support and mentorship. Individualism and team spirit both work well here.

    Cons

Too much time tied up in unnecessary meetings

    Advice to Management

Develop potential employees' leadership skills on a regular basis

I have been working at Infomatix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - great market opportunities, exciting possibilities ahead
    - chance to take part in high-impact projects and to work on big problems
    - unparalelled learning opportunity as a BA (both in technological and analytical areas)
    - fast-paced, colorful environment, talented, smart, young people, space for creative ideas
    - a lot of focus on action and value creation over processes and systems
    - senior managmeent has the courage and perseverence needed to further grow the company

    Cons

    - lack of clear vision, opportunistic behaviour, frequent change of focus
    - insufficient internal communication on key company challenges, focuses, state of the business, existing communication is strictly top-down, no platform to dsicuss and solve key structural problems
    - cultural leadership is mostly non-existent, company culture is mixed
    - rigid, hierarchical structure, low support for employee rotation, low employee involvement, missed opportunities for cooperation between organizational units
    - losing a lot of talent due to bad management / low involvement

    Advice to Management

Feeble attempts on internal communcation have been made but future growth hinges on senior management's ability to involve its employees in a much more profound way. The company needs clean focus points, a shared vision and a culture of honest, democratized communication if it wants to avoid disassembling into a group of opportunistic individuals.
