I worked at Infor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Remote working. Unfortunately, this is the primary reason many people stay.
Longer term employees and remote workers know how to navigate the landscape and stay under the radar.

    Cons

Growth: Revenue has been flat since 2012 and nearly flat since 2010, even with some good acquisitions. If they are so successful, why doesn't the revenue reflect this? Margins are achieved through continual layoffs and budget cuts for most departments.
Management Team - Disappointing because they could add so much value, but they don't try to be good leaders. They also have a genuine dislike of each other, and it is apparent and trickles throughout the rest of the organization.
Oracle complex- The joke around the industry is the company should be called Inforacle. It is a mini-me of Oracle. The business processes, atmosphere and culture (and now many of the people) are the same.
Technology - Most of the new technology and software shown are not even prototypes but images created by graphic design teams to show what they want it to look like - but the reality is YEARS away. Also, because of the acquisitions, there is no cohesive system or platform. It is still many disconnected systems thrown together. As a result, customer advocates one year may not even be customers in a few years.

    Advice to Management

Be the executives you were hired to be. Make a difference - don't just talk about it. Do something unique - Infor was created to be an alternative not a clone.

I have been working at Infor full-time

    Pros

Low key work environment. Self paced. Management seems to be doing their own thing most of the time

    Cons

Benefits aren't very good. No 401k matching, and health coverage is expensive. Corporate structure is very rigid. Not much interaction between teams. Management isn't very useful, no clear direction or motivation

    Advice to Management

Figure out ways to promote based on employee's work output and motivation

I have been working at Infor full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Being a product based company that also provides services for its products is one of main benefit working for Infor. One gets to work across products and latest technologies.

The company generally provides opportunities to move vertically and horizontally within the organization. It has an open culture.

    Cons

Being a dynamic organization, it tends to keep focusing on improved KPIs all the time. This at times drives resources crazy.

    Advice to Management

Continue sharing the company details with employees. Keep doing the great job of increasing the business and make us proud of being associated with Infor.

I have been working at Infor full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Advice to Management
