    Pros

They Allow you to work Remotely -

    Cons

They are having American employees train new employees from Mexico and Manila and then laying off these same Americans (who have worked for this company for 20-30 years. ) - Terrible infrastructure. As for Benefits - they offer you significant Vacation time, and then you aren't allowed to take it, because they don't have the staff to cover you when you are out. When you are a remote employee, there is absolutely no chance for promotion or growth within this company . You are just a number .

    Advice to Management

The CEO Charles Phillips - pockets $35 million dollars from a $2 billion dollar investment made by Koch Brothers - public info- , and then lays off his employees -He has Management take American work, generated by American Companies and gives the work/ jobs to Mexicans in Mexico.

I worked at Infor full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

None, outside of the team members I worked with.

    Cons

EVERY.THING. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. They treat you horribly. The pay is unfair and unequal across the board. Former colleagues working in the same exact position are being paid 40% more than others, most with far less experience. New hires are being hired in at much higher salaries. The commission structure is horrible and the company goes out of its way to make it nearly impossible to hit your monthly and quarterly goals so they can save on their bottom lines and pay out less on commissions. We are constantly being asked to do more and more duties, all that are outside of what our actual jobs are supposed to be, and we aren't compensated for it. Management is horrible. DO NOT WORK FOR INFOR!

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourselves.

    Pros

    - Good investment flow into the key product lines.
    - Product lines have enough flexibility with resources to be successful in their market.
    - Cross product line initiatives are planned well.
    - Good company (pay, benefits) and office locations to work from.
    - Great people!

    Cons

    - Corporate culture feels a bit like a grinder. Key initiatives from corporate take precedent over specific market progress and plans.
    - Mid-level leaders that are product line specific are not involved with executive leadership for guidance and counseling and it takes on an oversight relationship.

    Advice to Management

    - Get mid-level managers involved more
    - Celebrate the successes

Independence to manage the project as needed.
    Good managers
    Good bonus program paid quarterly

I have been working at Infor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Infor is a work in process. 5 to 6 years after Phillips and crew took over this organization is on the climb. However, we still struggle with market recognition. The culture is still evolving and you can have a chance to put your imprint on the company. That makes it exciting.

    Cons

We still struggle with internal politics and difficult internal processes that don't make sense all the time. However, this is typical of a large org. The move to the cloud has been painful for clients and employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep pushing forward. Solve the cloud issues and own our industries!

"Joke Company. Healthcare unit is a mess."

I worked at Infor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some good folks there interested in making a difference.
Great place to do little work and collect extra cash; Infor's healthcare business unit is going nowhere, so it's easy to look good by doing minimal work.

    Cons

Healthcare unit is almost solely focused on Cloverleaf, which is a dying product line.
Dead last in most analyst rankings (Gartner, Forrester, KLAS, etc.).
Poor direction from healthcare unit senior execs; strategy changes with the weather.

    Advice to Management

Give it up. You have no chance, you're not smart enough, you're all over the place and your reputation in healthcare is terrible, so save your remaining time on earth to work on something else that has a chance at succeeding. That's why I left.
