I worked at Infosys (Less than a year)

    Pros

They do offer good challenging work opportunities...

    Cons

...but being to green to a large company like, they take advantage of you. Document everything in writing to your manager and his manager....a phone call is not good enough.

    Advice to Management

Work with all your workers, not just those who you like.

I have been working at Infosys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get to work with many different clients and learn a lot.

    Cons

The benefits are not that great and once a project ends, you are asked to relocate if another one in the area is not available.

    Advice to Management

Promote or reward those who are doing well to reduce the retention rate. Hire less managers and hire more quality developers/engineers. When you know a project is coming to an end, help find a project for the current workers in advance instead of putting them on bench where the fear of being let go for being on bench too long occurs. That is why many of the good ones will leave.

I have been working at Infosys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Basic training in programming. Trip to India for training mostly covered by Infosys. High pay initially.

    Cons

What they train you in might not be a particularly needed skill in the company, on the U.S. side of things, putting you at risk of being laid off. Work calls after hours as late as 11:30pm even though you're not on call, making having a life outside of work or even getting sleep for the next day of work difficult sometimes. They require commitment of personal resources for international phone calls, internet access for work while requiring you to be able to move within several days notice(normal days not business days).
