    I have been working at Infosys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    After leading the industry for decades, Infosys lost its way a bit a few years ago. Growth lagged and some good people left (some not so great people left too).

    But there is new leadership and a real commitment to change now, and this is very visible to clients, analysts and employees. There is serious investment in employee development and driving a culture of innovation -- from investing in startups and design thinking to driving a "Zero Distance" mentality throughout the delivery organization.

    Clients have really noticed the difference and so have employees.

    Cons

    Diversity is still a problem. Infosys really aspires to be a truly global company, the new CEO is quite concerned about this, and there are beginning to be some investments here. However, we are not seeing change fast enough in this area.

    Advice to Management

    Make the investments and scorecards necessary to attract and retail more women and people of different cultures, esp at the senior most levels.

    Pros

    * Excellent Infrastructure.
    * Excellent Training Facilities.
    * Overall good work life balance.

    Cons

    A lot depends on the kind of project you get. They have a huge number of projects and some of them are technically not challenging and some of them can be very challenging and an employee usually does not have a choice.
    Salary and work hours policy are not something people like if they are based out of India.

    Advice to Management

    With new CEO things are moving in right direction but a lot needs to be done to make the middle management productive.

    Pros

    - Pay is comparable with other IT sales companies
    - Learning about different company cultures

    Cons

    - If you do not speak Hindi, do not work here
    - Training is minuscule to none and managers do not have 'training/mentoring' in their KPIs so they will not help you learn your position
    - Requested to move multiple times when it is absolutely unnecessary

    Advice to Management

    You won't listen anyways, so I won't waste my time
