I have been working at Infosys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people you get to work with are fantastic and have unique backgrounds from Media development to journalism to ad agency to industry or MBA path. The culture is very entrepreneurial and you can make a name for yourself quickly. The staffing model is very lean, so you get a lot of experience very quickly.

    Cons

The salary is far below the industry average and the amount of value provided for the level. There is a big mismatch between the skills of the consultant and what they are asked to do, both for those who are too experienced for their role or don't have the experience to support the role. Too many times you're asked to take one for the team and put your own professional development and health on the back burner. The brand also hinders the kinds of engagements. Too many are staff augmentation.

    Advice to Management

Raise salaries and have more of a backbone around who you will put in what role. Not everything is up to the client. Value your employees. We're tired of digging out of a hole year after year. And if you're going to "restructure," stick with the plan for more than a year. I've been here 3 years and been through 3 "restructures."
